Telehealth Counseling in Connecticut
The Center for NeuroPotential provides expert psychotherapy via online telehealth counseling in Connecticut.
With telehealth, you can have counseling sessions in the comfort and safety of your own home. It requires that you have a device with a camera, such as a smartphone, iPad, tablet, or computer. A wifi connection is also needed. We are in-network with Anthem and Husky, which cover telehealth counseling services.
Telehealth is available for anyone in the state of Connecticut. Phone sessions do not typically constitute telehealth, although insurance companies are making exceptions during the COVID-19 crisis.
Counseling, also called talk therapy or psychotherapy can help people who struggle with problems such as:
- Trauma and PTSD
- Life transitions, such as divorce and unemployment
- Low self-esteem
Our clinicians are trained in a variety of modalities, including: cognitive-behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, EMDR, brainspotting, trauma-focused therapy, biofeedback and play therapy. With counseling, the person can learn techniques to calm their body and their mind, develop new coping skills, and improve their mood.
